Are all pendants and charms attached to a leather strap?
Yes
Can I have another leather strap, as the one shown on the picture?
Yes. Please send me a message or type in your order in the comment field of your desired color. If I have the color in stock, I will send you your piece of jewelry with the desired leather strap.
Usually, the following colors are available: natural, scharz, dark brown, yellow, red, dark red, blue, dark blue, turquoise, yellow and orange
Can I have something else than a leather strap?
Unfortunately, no. Unfortunately there are no ather options at the moment.
Of course, you can remove the strap or order the item without leather strap. Please note that the drilled holes for hanging are usually made for a leather strap with a diametr of about 1 mm.
Yes. All objects are treated with linseed oil and polished several times.
Mostly I use “Lumberjack oil”. This oil is. sweat and saliva real (DIN V5316) after drying. The oil used to DIN EN 71, part fulfilled (suitable for children's toys) 3.
I want my natural and not oiled or waxed. Is that possible?
Yes. BUT: All works are made of wood. This is a natural material that absorbs moisture (and other) from its environment and releases it again. Therefore, the surface of the untreated artwork will change over time. Also other environmental factors set to the surface of the wood, such as light, dust or dirt, will change the surface of your object.
If left untreated, it will change so relatively quickly. The surface treatment to withstand all environmental conditions and protect your gem. If you still like your jewelery untreated, so of course this is possible.
How often do I have to oil my little wood-jewel?
This is a difficult question and it depends how you treat your object and and its demands. For sure a statue has to be re-oiled not very often. Only occasional dusting is necessary, nothing else.
An amulet that is worn very often must be re-oiled from time to time. I wear a small pendant around my neck for more than two years now . The surface is still very good, although it was never re-oiled.
The bigger the stress caused to your object and the more your objects is in contact to your skin or sweat, the more often it has to be re-oiled.
My desired product is labeled as "On Order". What does this mean?
This means that this object has already been sold.
However, you can order it. But please note that it is in all my works is unique. Even if I try to make a work of art in exactly the same form, the grain, the wood and the surface will never be exactly the same.
Just send me a message, I'm sure you will hold your jewelery in your hands soon.
I would like to have one of the products, but unfortunately it is not available. How long is the delivery time?
I try to keep delivery times as short as possible. But sometimes it happens that I have many orders at the same time, so that there is a delay in the production and delivery times. Please keep also in mind that the time of production also depends on the size and complexity of the work. I will contact you personally to discuss the delivery time with you individually.
I saw something beautiful. Is it possible to have in another sort of wood?

Sealing
All works of art have been repeatedly oiled and polished with the utmost care and accuracy. This makes the little beauties insensitive to environmental influences, such as sweat, dirt and water. After the final treatment, and when they are completely dried (about 14 days), the objects are really resistant against sweat and saliva (DIN V5316). The oil I use is suitable for children's toys (DIN EN 71 part 3).
Abrasion
Nevertheless, it is possible that - for whatever reason - the sealing may fade.
In this case, you can send it back to me (up to one year after purchase), I seal it again and polish it - it's FREE! If you have purchased it more than one year ago, you will only have to pay the freight charges.
Simply ask me!
Not in Stock?
Sometimes it happens that one of the works you particularly like, is already sold - unfortunately. I have put these articles in a special section called "Gallery". All TimberCharms in this section can not be ordered directly, they have to be bult first. So, if you want to have one of them, send me an inquiry.
I will be glad to make something similar - - especially for you.
Please forgive me, if I can not offer exactly the same piece!
But unfortunately they are all unique. ;-) But I will do my very best to carve your little piece as beautiful as possible.
Care
Here you find some tips for the care of your little treasures.
After carving the little treasures are repeatadly treated with oil. Then I have polished them so that they are protected against all possible environmental influences for a long time. Here are a few tips to help you have fun for a long time with your favorite piece.
The bigger part of my carvings have been oiled with Lumberjack-Oil. You can oil them with any other natural oil, but please take care that the oil can not become rancid, such as extra virgin olive oil.
Please take note that every oil has influence on the color of your little treasure. Certainly you can use any oil that your do-it-yourself-store offers for the care of wood.
My tips for the care of your favorite:
As soon as you have found the perfect oil, you need a cotton cloth and/or a small, soft paint brush.
In case of emergency you can handle your favorite with a sand paper (grain 320 or higher), so the oil can invade the wood more easy. In most cases this is not necessary.
After you have oiled the little treasure, please wait for approx half an hour. After that it is important to take away the rest of the oil from the surface.
After a drying period of at least one day, you can polish the piece of jewelry with a cotton cloth to a high gloss.
Thereafter, the oil should cure. This period will vary depending on which oil you use. Then your favorite piece remains protected. Now yourjewelry should be protected again.
To be safe, you should avoid your pendant or ring having contact with water.
If you do not want to carry out the procedure described above, you may send your piece.
I will seal it for you and send it back to you - It only costs the postage for the return shipment
